Support us Volunteering and Mentoring What types of volunteering can I do with RECLAIM? RECLAIM Volunteers support us in a variety of ways, including Event volunteering: Supported by staff, volunteers can work directly with young people during events. This is on a flexible basis, allowing volunteers to dip in and out of projects by attending sessions when they are available. Organising and delivering workshops: RECLAIM can support volunteers in facilitating, or co-facilitating, a workshop with young people. Often volunteers do this when they have a specific skill they wish to pass on to young people. Project support: Some volunteers may not want to work directly with young people. However, they can support projects and campaigns in a variety of ways, including project or event planning, social media or photography. ‘Behind the scenes’ support: Volunteers are always welcome to support us from the office, with recent volunteers offering skills from admin support to research. Mentoring: This is expanded on in the 'What does mentoring involve?' section further down this page.
